I'm excited to share that Odawa Bound is beginning work on a brand-new project - a First Nations Minecraft server.

This idea is still in its earliest stages, but the vision is already taking shape. I want to create a welcoming online community where First Nations people can gather, build, explore, learn, and simply enjoy spending time together in a safe and respectful environment. My hope is that it grows into a place where creativity, friendship, and our diverse First Nations cultures can be celebrated through one of the world's most popular games.

Right now, this project is very much in the planning phase.

There are still many important decisions to make. I haven't decided on the server's overall purpose yet, and I haven't even chosen a name. Those are conversations I'd like to have with the community rather than making every decision on my own.

Over the coming months, I'll be working on every part of bringing this project to life. That includes building a dedicated website, creating a Discord community, designing a logo, developing the visual identity, setting up the Minecraft server, and planning how everything will work together.

One area where I'd especially appreciate your help is the brand identity. If you have ideas for a server name, logo concepts, colours, themes, or the overall look and feel of the project, I'd love to hear them.

The server's rules, values, and long-term direction will also be developed as the project grows. Those discussions will happen later, once we have a stronger foundation and more community input.

If this sounds like something you'd like to be part of, I'd love to hear from you. Please visit the Contact Us page and send me your ideas, suggestions, or questions. Whether you're an experienced Minecraft player, a builder, an artist, a moderator, or simply someone who believes in creating positive First Nations spaces online, your voice is welcome.

This is just the beginning, and I'm looking forward to sharing each step of the journey with you as we build something special together. If you could build one thing on a First Nations Minecraft server, what would it be?
